A new version of the international congress and exhibition will be held on July 26 at the Metropolitan Santiago convention center. Solutions and advances for the development of the sector will be presented and discussed at the meeting. On July 26, Trans-Port 2023, the International Maritime-Port and Foreign Trade Logistics Congress for Latin America, returns with its theme “Net Zero-Digital: Building new standards for a transport and foreign trade ecosystem”. This year 2023 will be held at the Metropolitan Santiago Convention Center, located at Av. San Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer 5600, Vitacura, Metropolitan Region. The IX Congress of the Maritime-Port Industry and Logistics Comex for Latin America, seeks to connect the different actors in the value chain of transport and foreign trade. This version will feature a full program of dialogues, panels and talks, and conferences that will address the main challenges and trends in cargo transportation, ports and multimodal services. “Net Zero Digital” will be the theme of the meeting that will address the challenges and solutions for the decarbonization of the sector, where aspects such as the energy transition, the improvement of bunkering services and the collaboration of just-in-time operations are reaching new levels of implementation. In addition, the challenges of digitization and real-time operations in port terminals that allow reaching new levels of efficiency, productivity and environmental sustainability will be addressed. Victoria Belloni, Trans-Port manager highlights the importance of the meeting: “In this new edition the theme is directly related to what the industry is currently seeking to develop, where the combined and intensive use of digital technologies with new fuels and renewable energies for the decarbonization of the sector is prioritized”. The international congress and exhibition, which will be held in parallel, will bring together the main players in the sector: entrepreneurs, suppliers and national and international authorities. Related to ports, maritime transport, Comex and Multimodal logistics, public and private organizations. The event will exchange knowledge, experiences, development of technologies for equipment and solutions for the correct operation of the entire value chain related to the maritime-port industry and Comex logistics.
